Lindsay Lohan skips court: Lohan goes clubbing as Mark Heller tries to save case (Video)

Lindsay Lohan had other more pressing matters to deal with while her attorney barely hung on in a losing with a California court on his client’s behalf. According to a Mar. 1 E! News report, the judge denied attorney Mark Heller’s motion to “slow track” Lohan’s court case or to dismiss the charges stemming from her June car crash and subsequent allegations involving the actress’ lies to the police.

Judge Dabney appeared quite unimpressed with Lohan’s New York attorney, especially Heller’s knack for ignoring California court rules and procedures. “The file is quite voluminous for a misdemeanor,” Dabney remarked as he started the hearing. “The problem I see with the motions...is they appear to be lacking in conformity with California procedures and that concerns me.”

He added firmly that if this perceived incompetence continues, “Miss Lohan is going to have to come in here and waive her right to have competent attorneys versed in California law and procedure.”

Lohan's trial is still set for Mar. 18, and while the actress was not required to be court for the Mar. 1 hearing, she was spotted working on her rehabilitation Lohan-style; clubbing at Bow on Thursday night in New York City.
