Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is facing even more trouble than the charges bringing her to court on March 18, 2013 in Los Angeles; she missed the scheduled start time of the trial.
With the proceedings set to start at 8:30 a.m., Lohan's plane was delayed, according to TMZ.com, and did not even land until 8:35, meaning she was still in the air at the court's scheduled start.
Lohan, who is already on probation, is facing accusations that she lied to California cops last year after she crashed her car.
There's a real probability Lohan will face some jail time, a fact likely exasperated further by her late arrival to court. The judge may issue a bench warrant for her arrest before the trial can get underway.
Trouble seems to find Lohan no matter where she goes, but she doesn't seem to go out of her way to avoid it, either. Her flight to L.A. perhaps should have been scheduled for yesterday evening rather than first thing the morning of the trial.
