According to Perez Hilton, Lindsay Lohan won’t be strutting her stuff on “Dancing with the Stars” because she is too unreliable. In a report that appeared on Hilton’s site on Jan. 23, he says the stars handlers think a reality show would be disastrous for Lindsay and the show despite her financial woes.
‘DWTS’ offered the monetarily-challenged actress $550,000 to appear on the show, an amount that would go a long way to helping clear her debts. Her team is afraid live television would be too much for Lindsay to handle. Hilton quoted a source close to Lindsay as saying:
“Lindsay has been a mess on movie sets lately. She doesn’t show up on time, she keeps everyone waiting and so her team decided that there was no way that she could handle the pressure of a live show like Dancing with the Stars. Lindsay operates on her own schedule, and there would be no way that anyone could guarantee that she would be on time for rehearsals or the shows, and they’re live so it would be horrible if she didn’t show up! A live show and Lindsay? That would not be smart!”
This isn’t the first job the strapped starlet has turned down. Last month a strip club offered to pay for her delinquent storage unit fees in exchange for services but apparently that job didn’t hold any appeal either.
The “Dancing with the Stars” gig would require Lindsay to appear in two live shows a week and to show up for daily rehearsals. Given her past record, it’s not likely she could live up to her commitment and would cause problems for the show.
