Lindsay Lohan's new lawyer, Mark Heller, attended court alongside the starlet on Wednesday, Jan. 30, looking ready with a fancy Yves Saint Laurent briefcase with an attached rabbit's foot.
The New York attorney accompanied his famous new client to the L.A. courthouse this morning with a flashy satchel decorated with a little white rabbit's foot. Further trying to stretch his luck, Heller attempted to compliment the presiding judge, Stephanie Sautner, without much success, TMZ reported.
Apparently, after Judge Sautner gave Heller permission to represent Lindsay, the lawyer put the charms on her by saying they are connected via New York City because she was once a detective in the city. However, the judge quickly answered that flattery won't work on her.
No word yet on whether Lindsay will have to face jail time, as we have to wait until the next hearing set for March 1. So, it won't be long until we find out the effectiveness of that rabbit's foot.
