August 25, 2010 - Lindsay Lohan released from rehab after only 22 days of treatment
Lindsay Lohan was released from the UCLA Medical Center Tuesday afternoon as had been rumored for the last couple of days. Her civil attorney, Ed McPherson confirmed, "She has been released from Inpatient rehab."

The doctors that treated Lindsay had recommended that she be released no later than 30 days into her treatment and apparently Judge Elden Fox agreed with them.

Lindsay signed discharge papers and was quickly taken out of the center through a back door, where a car was waiting for her. To keep the press away, decoy cars were used as a large crowd of photographers was waiting outside of the facility.
Lindsay Lohan release update: Judge will issue order tomorrow
It was believed that Judge Fox would be giving an order tomorrow where he would announce Lindsay's release before a hearing on her case. However, the judge signed off the order on the release today. The hearing will still happen tomorrow, although Lindsay will not be attending.
The Mean Girls star will now be receiving outpatient care for an undefined period.
