Lindsay Lohan refuses house arrest deal

Lindsay Lohan refuses to accept a plea deal for house arrest, according to TMZ on March 10.

Sources tell the website the Santa Monica City Attorney and the L.A. City Attorney offered the “Liz & Dick” actress a deal to do 90 days of house arrest in lieu of jail in her criminal case but she’s refusing to accept any punishment.

The former Disney star's lawyer Mark Heller is reportedly telling the lawyers Lohan will accept a certain amount of house arrest and is negotiating the term of the house arrest.

Meanwhile, sources close to the 26-year-old tell the website she is opposed to any sort of punishment and simply won’t accept it.

Lohan was on probation for a jewelry heist case when she reportedly slammed her sports car into the back of a truck last June.

The troubled starlet allegedly told police her assistant was driving the car but authorities reported they had strong evidence the actress was behind the wheel.

Lohan’s criminal trial is scheduled to begin on March 18.
