Lindsay Lohan plans to give inspirational talks in schools and hospitals

Don’t look now, but Lindsay Lohan could be coming to a school near you to give an inspirational talk to your kids. No, this is not a bad joke. According to ABC News on Feb. 27, Lohan’s lawyer requested a continuance in her probation violation case, suggesting that she can use the time to engage in charitable endeavors.

So where do school visits play into this? According to a letter, part of the court documents, obtained by E! News, LiLo’s attorney, Mark Heller, says the troubled starlet is open to participating in public service announcements and visits to schools and hospital to give “inspirational talks.”

The letter claims she is also considering establishing the Lindsay Lohan Foundation to benefit young people. That would be a good thing, but “inspirational talks”?

Her lawyer further stated that Lindsay Lohan is committed to improving herself and “will gladly be participating in intensive psychotherapy” and “submitting herself to regular screenings.”

Heller wrote a letter to the Santa Monica City Attorney on Feb. 4, stating, "Lindsay has asked me to facilitate an in-person meeting…not to discuss the merits of her defense of the details of her case, but rather for Lindsay to introduce herself…and express her desire to share her thoughts and help in the process of our determining what the best course would be for her future and to personally affirm her commitment and dedication to fix the problems."

This same package of court documents also requests that the charges Lohan faces in connection with a car crash last June be dismissed. She’s been accused of lying to police when she told them she wasn’t behind the wheel of her car when it ran into the back of a dump truck. Eyewitness testimony says otherwise.

There is a hearing scheduled for Friday, March 1. Maybe she can give enough “inspirational talks” to reform herself by then.
