Lindsay Lohan has remained out of jail for years, despite breaking numerous laws and holding a complete disregard for authority. Credit for this should go to her old attorney Shawn Holley, and Radar Online reported on Jan. 14 that Lohan fired Holley and now owes her over $300,000.
This is in addition to all the other money that Lohan owes, whether it is to the IRS, her old landlords or her storage unit. However, while the money owed is large, the subtraction of Holley from Lohan's legal team might be even worse for the actress.
Holley has represented Lohan in her last three criminal cases and has represented her for over five years. Lohan has not paid Holley in over six months and hasn't paid anything since the case where Lohan was charged with lying to the police after an accident.
Sources say that Lohan's new attorney Mark Heller may not be charging Lohan anything, hoping that just representing her will be publicity enough. However, Shawn Holley is well respected in Los Angeles, part of the reason she has been able to keep Lohan out of jail. Heller is not even a Los Angeles attorney.
If Lohan is found guilty in her probation violation hearing, she could find herself in jail for up to six months.
