On Jan. 3 Fox News reports that despite the vicious rumors about Lindsay Lohan being evicted from her rental mansion in California are simply not true. It is true that Lindsay packed up her things and took to New York, her new home just before the new year, but not for the reason that people are thinking.
LiLo is facing some serious jail time for her Nov. 29 nightclub incident not to mention any jail time that she could be facing from her car crash in June. While it wasn't stated where the troubled star is living in New York, it is likely for support from someone while she hammers out the wrinkles in her life.
Lindsay was in London for New Year's Eve and was photographed looking anything but her best; disheveled, bloated, and drunk. When rumors began spreading as to the reason for Lohan's cross country move, it was originally reported that she couldn't afford her rental because of all her tax troubles with the IRS. Lindsay even went as far as making a statement about how President Obama should give her a tax break! Many still think that it is a viable reason to Lindsay's move, but a source close to her says that it is the farthest thing from the truth.
