Lindsay Lohan officially showed up for her court hearing today and made a big move. According to TMZ on Jan. 30, Lohan officially fired Shawn Holley as her attorney and said she planned on using Mark Heller as her new representative.
This isn't the smartest move in the world, as Holley has been the woman who has kept Lohan out of jail despite numerous infractions over the past few years. However, when the judge asked if Lohan was sure, not only for today but also tomorrow, Lohan said she was certain she wanted to make this move.
Shawn Holley has a good reputation in California within the legal system, while Lohan's new attorney, Mark Heller, is based in New York. Heller tried to get on the judge's good side by pointing out they had a New York City connection, but she flatly told him that flattery will get them nowhere.
Judge Sautner also made a quip to Lohan that she was glad to see Lindsay was feeling better. Lohan almost didn't come to court because of illness. The judge then dropped the bomb and said that even if Lohan is found not guilty of lying to police, she could still see her probation revoked.
One has to wonder if Lindsay Lohan is missing Shawn Holley yet.
