It looks like Lindsay Lohan may finally get rid of her lawyer, Shawn Holley. The documents have been filed by Holley to be let out of Lohan’s case according to TMZ on Jan. 28.
It was just last week that Lohan was begging Holley to stay on as her lawyer but now she has agreed to let her off the case. Holley filed legal documents asking the judge, Judge Stephanie Sautner, to let her off of Lohan’s case. Lohan has even signed the documents agreeing to let Holley off of the case and Mark Heller, New York attorney, to take her place.
The judge will probably agree to let Holley off of the case. There is one problem that Lohan could possible face. Unfortunately Heller is not licensed to practice in California. Heller would need a California lawyer to sponsor him. The attorney that has agreed to sponsor Heller thinks she is vouching for another lawyer who has worked with Heller in the past.
With all of this confusion, it is very possible that Lindsay Lohan may end up losing Shawn Holley and Mark Heller. Now is not the time that Lohan needs to be without a lawyer. Let’s hope Lohan can get this cleared up fast.
