Trouble star Lindsay Lohan is seeking $1 million from her clothing line. In fact, she went as far as to sue them. The San Francisco Chronicle reported on Jan. 31 that Lohan is looking for over $1.1 million and control of the brand.
The lawsuit is for her '6126 collection. This exclusive collection includes a line of leggings. The brand was hoping that it would lead to other fashion collections.
Lohan named the legging line after the birth date of her idol, Marilyn Monroe. Monroe was born on July 1, 1926. Lindsay has taken many photo shoots, inspired by the movie star.
Lindsay has avoided her collaboration with the brand. Now, she's looking to regain control of it. She wants to negotiate another brand to license her trademark name.
Lindsay Lohan is currently going through some financial trouble. She's reportedly broke and staying at home with mom Dina Lohan. The actress also can't pay her taxes or her credit cards. Lindsay may also face jail time for lying to a cop about a car crash. Her next trial date is March 18.
