Lindsay Lohan is ready to dump her new lawyer Mark Heller already, according to a Radaronline.com report on Jan. 31.
A source told the website, exclusively, that Lindsay despises Mark Heller and she’s busy seeking out new representation.
“Lindsay has been on the phone calling criminal defense attorneys in Los Angeles trying to hire someone new to represent her,” the source revealed.. “She absolutely loathes Mark Heller and doesn’t feel confident that he can successfully represent her.”
Unfortunately for Lindsay, attorneys are steering clear of her because of her tainted reputation. The “Mean Girls” star is reportedly seen as a problem client with no money to pay her legal fees.
“Lindsay called Robert Shapiro, who represented her briefly several years ago, but he was unavailable. She called four other top notch DUI attorneys, and every single one of them turned her down – one even had his assistant call Lindsay back and say he wasn’t interested.”
The source said, “Lindsay is absolutely stunned that this is happening to her,” the source said about the starlet being turned down repeatedly by top lawyers. “The attorneys have tremendous respect for Shawn Holley, and they know that Lindsay owes her hundreds of thousands of dollars, therefore they want nothing to do with her.”
Lohan was seemingly hesitant when she told the judge she was comfortable with Mark Heller representing her earlier this week. Meanwhile, the star is reportedly annoyed by Heller’s love for publicity.
“The only times Shawn talked to the media was often at Lindsay’s urging because it was her rule to just lay it all out in court, and leave it at that,” said the source. “Mark had another press conference yesterday after he met with prosecutors in the case.”
Lohan’s pretrial hearing is set for March 1, but she is not required to attend. The actress is required to appear for her trial date on March 8.
