Lindsay Lohan still appears to be living large despite her financial problems, as she jetted off to London for an extravagant vacation over the weekend. Lindsay owes the IRS $234,000, has had her assets frozen, and is in jeopardy of having her storage unit auctioned off for non-payment. The 26 year-old actress is also having trouble making her $8,000 a month rent on her Beverly Hills Mansion, in which her previously filmed stint on Bravo’s “Million Dollar Decorators” aired last night, according to The Huffington Post today. Pictures of Lindsay Lohan returning to her London hotel on New Year’s Eve suggested all of her woes from 2012 may just be taking a toll on her as she looked like hell.
The Huff Post reports Lindsay Lohan’s London stay included shopping at Harrods and dining at Cipriani, all while staying at the Dorchester. Quite chic for someone who allegedly had her sister try to sell off part of her wardrobe for quick cash, and accepted 100,000 from Charlie Sheen to help pay her tax bill.

Meanwhile, Lindsay’s appearance on “Million Dollar Decorators” finally aired last night on Bravo. The show kicked off with designer Kathryn Ireland poking fun at Lohan's legal troubles. “You need to get your first prison sentence out of the way. It's like your first marriage”, Ireland joked.
Of course filming of the episode was back in March, before Lindsay had many of this year’s problems. All was going well until she went with the designer to furniture shop at the Kriess Showroom, and the paparazzi showed up. Lindsay fled out the back door after her mood suddenly changed.
Bravo spent $200,000 renovating Lohan’s digs, but when it came time to film the reveal in April, calls to the troubled actress went unanswered. TMZ reported last month that their sources told them that the house is so messy now that it's “completely unfilmable”.
Sources say the starlet refused to tape the final episode, supposedly due to hospitalization after an accident. Producers for the show decided to use “canned” footage shot after the renovations, minus Lindsay, for the big reveal on Jan. 8.
TMZ published photos of Lindsay Lohan, showing her looking somewhat bloated and disheveled, while out and about in London. The website summed up her year for her, noting among a long list of troubles, the fact that she’s just had her probation revoked for her jewelry heist case.
A car crash in June led to three new charges in Santa Monica for lying to police. Lindsay was arrested twice in New York, once for assault, and the other for hit and run. Her huge blowout with mother Dina was recorded and disseminated by her father Michael during which cops were also called.
Speaking of her dad, he tried and failed an intervention back in October, claiming Lindsay is out of control and once again drinking heavily. Lohan’s attempt at a comeback flopped horribly after critics shredded her over her “Liz & Dick” performance. Finally, her tax problems and other money issues capped off one bad year for the actress.
Lindsay faces a return to prison for having her probation revoked, although the judge in the case tends to prefer rehab types of punishment over jail, so Lohan could catch a break once again. Whether that would benefit her in the long run remains to be seen.
Hopefully Lindsay will have a better 2013, although the tabloids sort of don’t really hope so.
