Lindsay Lohan is free on $300,000 bond! And, they said it wasn't going to happen this time. According to Fox News,Judge Patricia Schnegg, Assistant Supervising Judge for the L.A. County Criminal Courts, threw out Judge Elden Fox's ruling a few hours after the fact. Judge Fox stated he was not going to allow bond this time.
Ms. Lohan has been struggling with the law since 2007 over drug and drunk driving charges. She was released from jail and allowed to go to rehab a few weeks ago. Part of the deal was that she pass frequent random drug tests, and she didn't!
Not in Tennessee
Local Tri-Cities resident, Betty Necessary, thinks this money is just a drop in the bucket to Lindsay Lohan, but considers how many people could be helped with that same sum of money. "I don't see why they don't leave her in jail to dry out," she wonders.
In Tennessee, Ms. Lohan may not have the same special treatment. Here is the state government's page on DUI penalties in the Volunteer State.
