Lindsay Lohan may just have made a huge mistake by firing her longterm attorney Shawn Holley on Monday.
According to a report released moments ago on TMZ, Lindsay fired Shawn and hired a New York attorney with a shady reputation. The starlet's new counsel, Mark Heller, got suspended from practicing law back in 1994 for five years and has been called "a menace to the public" by other lawyers according to the New York Times.

It was Heller himself who sent a letter to Ms. Holley letting her know that he was now going to rep Lindsay on all criminal matters, including all her ongoing cases in Los Angeles and in New York City. Apparently, Heller had been representing the "Mean Girls" actress in her NYC assault case, where she allegedly punched a psychic in a night club.
Holley has famously kept Lindsay out of jail several times in connection to her multiple court cases. In fact, the highly effective lawyer was working on negotiating another settlement for Lindsay in the case where she lied to police.

It is not known why Lindsay made such a stunning move, but many are shocked that she would take this route and fire an attorney who's gotten her very good results and who has a very good reputation.
