Lindsay Lohan did not make her court appearance in New York City for the nightclub assault case according to TMZ Jan. 7 2013. It would have been tough to make the appearance since she has been in London for the last week. But that is okay, since her lawyers were able to get a continuation because the "investigation into this case is still continuing." Whew she "dodged a legal bullet" in this case... for now.
For those of you that don't remember, Lindsay Lohan was arrested and charged for "third degree misdemeanor assault" in November after she alledgedly punched a woman in a nightclub. The "psychic" claimed she would have a great 2013 according to her lawyer, guess that is starting off with a bang. Mark Heller (Lindsay Lohan's attorney) also claimed she (Lohan) "is a victim of someone trying to capture their 15 minutes of fame."
For those of you that don't remember the incident (because there have been so many) that got her into this hot water you can watch the video at the top of the screen. One has to wonder if there will ever come a day that Lohan's trouble with the law will not be hot buzz topic. It is almost impossible to remember the child actress many of us loved in those early days when Lohan found her fifteen minutes of fame.
