Lindsay Lohan destroys loaned amfAR Gala dress for the sake of fashion!

Actress Lindsay Lohan has reportedly mutilated the dress she was lent to wear to the amfAR Gala in New York earlier this month...

Apparently, the Theia dress that was lent to her to be worn on February 6, 2013 at the amfAR Gala to kick off New York Fashion Week has been altered on-the-spot with a pair of scissors!

A source who witnessed an impromtu restyling of the dress said that the dress had ripped at a night club and “she couldn't possibly wear it like that - so her stylist friend went to the club bouncer and requested some scissors to repair the torn part of the dress.”

The source continued to say that Lohan’s stylist Phillip Bloch, “turned it into a mullet! Only a fashiony person would do that!” Reportedly, several inches were taken off the dress to create a high-low effect as indicated by the “mullet.” Was it more to do with looking “hot” at the nightclub than repairing a rip?

Theia’s representative has stated that the $1,750 dress was “loaned in good faith to Phillip Bloch, Lindsay Lohan’s stylist. We were informed by Mr. Bloch’s assistant that the dress was damaged during the course of the evening. The dress has not been returned, and it wasn’t until we saw the photos on in the media, that we became aware of the actual condition of the gown. Further action has yet to be determined.”

Lindsay Lohan, always a free spirit and often in and out of court, taking more chances at prosecution…
