Lindsay Lohan is taking an interesting defense in her recent criminal case. According to TMZ on Feb. 25, Lohan wants the case dropped because the cops were really mean to her.
According to Lohan, when she was questioned by the police about the car accident she was involved in last year, she asked for her attorney. She claims the police refused to allow her to have an attorney present and then proceeded to continue to demand that she answer their questions.
Lohan's new attorney, Mark Heller, wants the entire case thrown out because Lindsay was denied her Miranda rights. Heller is Lohan's attorney now that she fired Shawn Holley, the attorney who has kept Lohan out of jail for the past few years, despite frequent run-ins with the law.
Well, the problem with this case is that the police say that Lohan's entertainment lawyer was present the entire time they were questioning her. Heller said the police are lying about this and actually told Lohan that if she refused to answer their questions and wait for an attorney, it would be "worse for her."
Does Lohan's new defense make sense, or is she still lying about what happened at the incident? Chime in below.
