Lindsay Lohan boards plane then hops off for fear of mechanical failure

With the jury waiting in the hallway to start the Lindsay Lohan trial, the former Disney kid struck a plea-bargain, which meant there was no need for a trial today. According to Yahoo OMG on Monday, March 18, 2013, Lohan was 45 minutes late to her court appearance after blowing off two flights and hopping off another one she felt was unsafe.

Lohan wore a cross with rosary beads as she showed up in court with puffy eyes and greasy hair. She was whisked into the judges chambers with both her lawyer and the prosecutor to hash out a plea bargain. Lohan has agreed to a 90 locked down in a rehab, which means she can't go anywhere for those three months.

She was also sentenced to five days in jail for violating probation, but history dictates that will boil down to just a few hours due to overcrowding, much like her last few jail sentences.

Lohan was due to catch a flight on Saturday evening to come back to LA from NYC, but blew that off in lieu of going to a nightclub. The next flight she missed was at 6 p.m. on Sunday evening. She finally boarded the last flight of the night at 9:30 p.m., but she got off the plane for fear it was having a mechanical failure of some sorts. Her instincts were wrong because after making a stop for refueling, the plane touched down safely without her in LA.

She got on a private jet this morning, which was diverted to another airport further away from Van Nuys Airport, which was near the courthouse. The trip to the court took longer than it would have, making her late.
