E! Online has reported on Feb. 6 that Lindsay Lohan attended the amFAR event for New York Fashion Week. Wearing a Roberto Cavalli gown, Lohan posed with producer Mohammed Al Turki. She is one of many celebrities who has flocked to New York City for Fashion Week and has struggled to find accommodations. Lindsay Lohan has been reported to be staying on Long Island in her mother’s house.
Celebrities have descended on New York City for Fashion Week, and Lindsay Lohan is not the only one who has had issues finding a hotel closer to the action of the fashion shows. With multiple shows, parties and brand events throughout the week, finding a place to stay has not been easy for many people.
Some members of the media and others hoping to catch a glimpse of New York Fashion Week have resorted to searching for accommodations beyond the usual hotels since many of them are booked. Even celebrities are rumored to have run into issues because some of them did not plan ahead. With more than 100,000 attendees estimated this year, it is not a surprising problem. NewYorkStay.com offers several suggestions that include apartments, rooms for rent and bed and breakfasts, and some celebrities have been rumored to have turned to this website for help.
New York Fashion Week promises to be busy with multiple shows each day from Feb. 7 through Feb. 14, and some designers will be sharing their collections at the same time. Lindsay Lohan, Janet Jackson, Emilia Clarke, Katharine McPhee, Chloe Sevigny, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashlee Simpson and other celebrities have already been spotted.
