Lindsay Lohan arrives at court, crowd member throws yellow powder at her

Lindsay Lohan arrived at court just moments ago after being nearly 50 minutes late. As she exited her car, and approached the courthouse someone in the crowd tossed a yellow powdery or glitter substance at her according to TMZ reports on Monday, March 18.

The truck driver that was involved in the crash is also in the courtroom this morning. It is also reported that Lindsay Lohan's father Michael Lohan is also in the courtroom this morning.

As previously reported, LiLo told her closest pals that she honestly would have never deliberately lied to the police when they asked her if she was the one driving the car that rear-ended semi truck in Santa Monica last summer.

What she is telling them is that after the car accident she was extremely confused.

"There was a lot of commotion in the emergency room, and Lindsay was extremely upset and concerned for [her assistant] Gavin, who was also in the car with her. Gavin was bleeding, and Lindsay was just freaking out. There were cops coming at her from every angle, and her primary concern was making sure that Gavin was OK. She was also stressed-out because she had been en route to the set of Liz & Dick. Lindsay says she was very confused after the accident and would never deliberately lie to the cops," the insider added.

Lindsay Lohan claims she did not lie to police, she was just confused.

The "Mean Girls" star was involved in a serious car accident last June, when the Porsche that she was driving was totaled after Lohan rear-ended the large truck. Both Lohan and her assistant were transported to the local hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.

At the hospital emergency room, the local police questioned Lindsay Lohan about the details leading up to the accident, before her attorney had arrived, it was then that Lindsay Lohan told the police that she was not driving.

Stay tuned to see what the judge has to say to Lindsay Lohan about disrespecting the courts and the law by arriving late to court.
