Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan and her persistent father, Michael Lohan have finally reunited. The Lohan father and daughter spoke to each other inside the site of Lindsay's rehab for the first time in over seven months.
Lindsay and Michael Lohan met inside the Betty Ford clinic, where Lindsay is being treated for substance abuse addiction. Michael and Lindsay's reunion was said to be an emotional one.
"It was an emotional reunion. There were hugs, kisses and even a few tears when Michael and Lindsay first saw each other," a source told RadarOnline.
Lindsay has made no secret of her ill feelings toward Michael in the past. The Lohan family has admitted they are very much estranged, even revealing that Lindsay's parents Michael and Dina have a restraining order between them.
However disfunction the Lohan family may be, Michael has made it very clear that his intentions are to help his daughter. Lohan has revealed, to just about every news outlet, that his daughter's addiction is very serious and that he fears for Lindsay's life.
After the meeting Michael Lohan stated, "I am an incredibly proud father tonight. My daughter is progressing extraordinarily well."
