Lindsay Lohan accepts plea deal: 90 days in 'locked rehab facility'

Lindsay Lohan has accepted a plea deal for 90 days in rehab for her lying to the cops case, according to TMZ on March 18.

The “Mean Girls” actress – who reportedly refused the prosecutors’ previous offers – was set to begin trial in her lying to the cops case.

Lohan was allegedly opposed to rehab, house arrest or any other punishment for that matter and was reportedly confident that she could win her case in court.

In a shocking turn of events, the somber looking starlet pleaded no contest to all charges and accepted 90 days in a "locked rehab facility" in lieu of jail time. "She is not to leave the facility at all," said the judge.

Lohan was also found in violation of probation of her 2011 jewelry theft case, which has been stayed as long as she complies with the terms of the court’s orders.

The troubled star is required to pay fines and complete 18 months of psychotherapy taking into consideration the two months she’s already completed.

Lohan will also complete 30 days of community service.
