TMZ had an interesting headline today-- "Lindsay Lohan in Penthouse," implying that Lindsay was posing in the famed magazine. She had already done Playboy, but Penthouse has a far nastier reputation. The pose headline is actually is not quite true, Lindsay's living in a penthouse, a top floor apartment, and doing so rent free. Whether she is posing for anyone other than herself in the penthouse is unknown at this time.
For anyone else but Lindsay, such a headline would be actionable. With Lindsay, her reputation is so bad right now,especially in light of the negative publicity from her new film, The Canyons, that such a headline might actually help her career. Don't expect a lawsuit against TMZ.
Meanwhile, the website has recently announced that Lindsay owes her lawyer Shawn Holley as much as $150,000. How can a lawyer let a client owe that much without even a friendly note?
Assuming that Holley sues Lindsay, there is a chance that Lindsay might have to do Penthouse after all.
