That new edition of Jude Southerland Kessler's John Lennon biography "Shoulda Been There" with the cover art by Beatles artist Shannon we told you about will have a collectible attraction for 100 purchasers.
The "Shannon edition" will be numbered and signed by author Kessler and artist Shannon. Copies of the special edition cost $100 and can be pre-ordered at www.ontherockbooks.com. The regular non-numbered copy signed by Kessler is $29.95.
In addition, 200 copies remain of the first edition of Kessler's "Shivering Inside," the author's second entry in her Lennon bio series. These are available for $24.95 through her website or $29.95 at Amazon.com. New first edition copies of her earlier book, "Shoulda Been There," are currently selling on Amazon from around $90 to over $300 and reportedly have sold for much higher.
Kessler hopes to debut the new "Shoulda Been There" cover at this year's Louisiana Pecan Festival Nov. 4-6 in Colfax, Louisiana, and to have the new "Shivering Inside" cover available for next year's New York Fest for Beatles Fans. The fest takes place March 23-25, 2012.
