On Wednesday, according to Rush Limbaugh - the host of the most popular conservative nationally broadcast radio program on the EIB network - President Barack Obama has committed an impeachable offense by releasing detainees from correctional institutions before the looming sequester has even begun.
Boehner tells U.S. Senate to get off their ass and do something about Sequester
If Congress does not come with some sort of agreement, the nation’s sequester will begin on Friday, March 1.
Limbaugh maintains that the president has put citizens at risk by releasing persons into society to excite the public regarding the sequestration that will take place at the end of this week. He further accuses Obama of releasing illegal immigrants as a measure of continually picking on Arizona for its politicians – headed by Gov. Jan Brewer – having given the Obama administration such a difficult time regarding the nation's lack of protective immigration policy enactment.
Limbaugh says that, according to Fox News, Pima County in Arizona released 500 illegal alien criminals alone. Additionally, he says that the New York Times has reported that there were similar releases at dozens of other locations throughout the country.
Limbaugh said that Obama’s opening of prison doors and releasing criminals is in direct violation of the United States Constitution. He stressed that Obama is doing this before the sequester even happened – before there have even been any budget cuts. The conservative talk show host called the actions by Obama childish yet real for the people who live near these detention centers.
In Limbaugh’s program remarks on Wednesday, he said that Obama probably thinks he is harming Republicans with his actions, but in reality, he is harming everyone with his unnecessary actions by releasing people from detention centers in Arizona and beyond. Limbaugh insinuates that Obama is making drastic decisions with the intent of blaming Republicans for whatever happens from these unnecessary Obama actions due to the gridlock in Washington, D.C. involved with the sequester.
The broadcaster says none of the budget cuts or panic currently being caused by Obama is necessary, and that nothing will really be felt by the nation if the sequester does, in fact, happen on Friday.
