Lily Rabe set to return for 'American Horror Story's' third season

Fans of FX’s “American Horror Story” received more good news on Friday when creator Ryan Murphy announced that Lily Rabe would return for the show’s third season.

Murphy tweeted the casting news, writing, “So thrilled to announce Lily Rabe is onboard for American Horror Story Season Three! So talented, love her!” Rabe will join previously announced cast members Jessica Lange, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson.

Like the others, Rabe has been on the show since the first season. In “Asylum,” Rabe arguably stole the show as a sweet, naïve nun, who turned evil after being possessed by a demon. She will play a new character in the third season, but Murphy has not given away too many details about what the new season will entail.

Murphy has said that it will take place in modern day, but just like the past seasons, there will be different time periods and cities explored as well. He is also planning to bring humor and glamour to the season.
