On Friday, UK pop star Lily Allen gave birth to her first child.
Allen and Sam Cooper welcomed a baby girl whose name has not yet been disclosed. The couple were married a year ago June at St. James the Great church in Glocestershire, England. Their wedding came on the heals of their engagement which occured when Cooper asked Allen to wed while the two were on the Indonesian island of Bali for Christmas.
These are happy times for Allen, well earned after the singer suffered a miscarriage in 2008 when she was four months pregnant with musician Ed Simon's child. Then, the 26-year-old singer suffered a second miscarriage in November of last year. At that point, Lily was six months pregnant.
But on Friday, November 25, 2011, a new baby came into the lives of this happy couple. He is a business man in the UK and considers Allen "the love of his life."
Although no official word about the new birth has been forthcoming as of this wriing, ccording to close friend and former beau to Allen Seb Chew wrote on Twitter:
"sending out love to lily, sam and mini cooper......YES."
Congratulations to Lily Allen and Sam Cooper, and welcome to the world little baby Allen Cooper.
