Lily Allen admitted to the hospital with septicemia [severe blood poisoning]
Pop singer Lily Allen has been admitted into the hospital suffering from septicemia, which is a severe bacterial infection of the bloodstream which could cause septic shock and in some cases be fatal if left untreated.
Lily Allen's spokesperson released a statement earlier according to celebrity news site Gossip Cop saying "She is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve. Lily thanks everyone for the messages of support and asks that she and her partner Sam Cooper be left alone whilst she recovers."
This has not been a great few weeks health wise for the singer only several days ago Lily Allen revealed that sadly she had miscarried during her pregnancy 6 months in now she has been hospitalized with blood poisioning. Fans are wondering today if the septicemia could be the the cause behind Allen's sad and heartbreaking miscarriage.
