Lilah 11-year old female rapper performs for Tito Jackson's Swearing In

Lilah an 11-year old female rapper honored Tito Jackson the new councillor for district 7 during his swearing in by performing her song called "Party." The performer responded by saying she thought this would be the perfect song to celebrate his new position in the City Of Boston. At the end of her performance Lilah said, 'I would like to congratulate Tito Jackson,' the crowd cheered.

The celebration included other performers as well. Lisa Bello performed the National Anthem during the ceremony, which took place at the Hibernian Hall located at 184 Dudley Street in Dudley Square. Approximately 150-200 people atended and refreshments were also served. People from Roxbury and surrounding communities came out to show support for councillor Tito Jackson and share this wonderful occasion with him.

As the new councillor of Boston his mission will be to correct and ensure the changes and issues dealing with community violence, social, political and education within the community. Maintaining equality and the rights of the people free from discrimination around the surrounding areas.

With the support of his people Tito Jackson is prepared to take a stand, do his job, and serve his city bringing unity, and peace to the people in the neighborhoods who may have been exposed to the violence and injustice.
