Finally Birdman a.k.a. Baby, co-founder of Cash Money Records called in to Hot97's Angie Martinez radio show Monday, March 18, 2013 to give an official status update on Lil Wayne.
Birdman reports that all the rumors from TMZ have been inaccurate, reporting that Wayne has been in the hospital since Tuesday, March 12, 2013 and has never left since. He also reported that the rapper's seizure had nothing to do with drugs and he only had one seizure likely brought on by his strong work ethics. Working non-stop without proper rest, he needs to get some rest and relaxation is the main message made clear by the Birdman as to why Wayne is still in the hospital, making it clear this is most likely the sole reason for the rapper's recent health scare. Birdman goes on to say:
...Other than that he's in great health and should be home any day now.
Angie asked for clarification on TMZ's reports of multiple seizures, induced coma, and life support. Baby cleared it up by saying none of that was ever true.
