Lil Wayne tweets he’s ‘good’ after most recent seizure (Video)

TMZ broke some scary news last night when they reported that rapper Lil Wayne, 30, was transported to the ICU in critical condition after suffering another in a series of recent seizures. According to the celebrity news outlet, Wayne was listed as "unstable," was placed in a medically induced coma, and was breathing through tubes.

But members from Lil Wayne’s entourage reported last night that he was alive and well and that rumors of his impending death were exaggerated, according to CNN.

Although Wayne does have a documented health problem, has been suffering seizures, and admitted to being on anti-seizure medication, last night his friend and music label president Mack Maine tweeted “Wayne is alive and well! We watching the Syracuse game.”

Lil Wayne was in Los Angeles shooting a music video where he reportedly had to be transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after suffering multiple seizures.

Lending credence to Lil Wayne feeling better than earlier reports was the rapper’s own tweet late Friday night:

“I’m good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love.”

Rappers and athletes across the board from have been tweeting their support and well wishes for Lil Wayne. Everyone wishes him a speedy recovery.
