Lil Wayne says he is 'more than good' after leaving hospital (Video)

Last week TMZ reported that Lil Wayne was near death in the ICU, but on March 21 they posted a new video showing the pint-sized rapper is well on the way to recovery. In the video Lil Wayne is out of the hospital and talking tour plans with his associate T.I.

The rapper starts by thanking his fans for their prayers. He then tells everyone, "I am more than good."

Lil Wayne was in such bad shape following an alleged codeine overdose that doctors were forced to pump his stomach three times. This allegedly left the rapper in an induced coma. TMZ’s sources had told the gossip site that Lil Wayne was unconscious and awaiting his last rites at one point during the chaos.

Friends and business partners of the rapper were quick to slam TMZ for its reporting during the tragedy. The gossip site has stood by all of its reports, but that has not stopped the criticism of their reporting. Many felt TMZ exploited the situation and were in a rush to be first to declare Lil Wayne dead.

Lil Wayne has a new album coming out on March 26.
