Lil Wayne reportedly in coma: Twitter posts refute reports so what's the scoop?

The Los Angeles Times reports that Lil Wayne is in critical condition on Friday after suffering a seizure earlier in the day.

Wayne reportedly was placed in an induced coma at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. This is the second time the 30 year old rapper was admitted into the facility this week. After suffering a multiple seizures on Tuesday, he stayed at Cedars-Sinai hospital until the following day.

According to TMZ, Wayne’s condition is “unstable.”

The multi-platinum rapper’s posse at his label Young Money/Cash Money have been busy tweeting today warning the public not to believe the press about Wayne’s condition.

"Wayne is alive and well! We watching the Syracuse game...thanks for the prayers and concern..he will update you all soon. #love," tweeted Young Money Entertainment president Mack Maine. He continued with, “We will be releasing an official statement shortly but dont believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe…. that’s false!!”

Obviously, Wayne’s camp has seen TMZ reports that the rapper was in a medically induced coma and not breathing on his own.

It is unclear as to whether Wayne is actually watching the Syracuse game with his buddies or not but fans are certainly hoping that the young star will pull out of this situation and get to the bottom of his health issues once and for all.
