Lil Wayne has been released from the hospital after his serious health crisis, which had some news outlets reporting the rapper was on death’s door, ABC News reports on Mar. 19.
According to the post, Lil Wayne’s friend, and Young Money associate Mack Maine, took to his Twitter account to let fans know the rapper had been released from the hospital.
Lil Wayne was hospitalized after suffering from serious seizures, which were allegedly caused by the use of cough syrup, which he’s reportedly been addicted to for some time.
Lil Wayne has been released from the hospital after some media outlets such as TMZ were reporting that the singer may not make it through his medical emergency. In fact, rumors had begun to circulate that the rapper was being read his last rights, and R.I.P. tweets were already being sent out online.
