Lil Wayne is currently on life support, the story broke today, this evening, Friday, March 15. The hospital is currently waiting for his mother to arrive at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Sources (TMZ) says the rapper is being kept on life support until his mother arrives to make a decision regarding whether they should keep the rapper on life support or discontinue life support. Before being placed in an induced coma, the rapper had to be placed in constraints because he’s been shaking uncontrollably.
Apparently Lil Wayne was hospitalized earlier this week (Tuesday, March 12) after experiencing multiple seizures. The rapper’s bodyguard found him lying on the floor unconscious in his room Tuesday night, after shooting a music video in Los Angeles. He was then taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and was released several hours later (Wednesday morning). After being released, he was apparently doing better. Lil Wayne had actually began experiencing having seizures before; which began sometime in October last year. Later, the rapper admitted his doctor placed him on prescribed seizure medication.
Unfortunately, the 30-year old rapper was once again rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center experiencing seizures again and sources were told it doesn’t look good for the rapper because he did not stabilize and was placed in ICU in critical condition. Apparently the rapper has now been placed in an induced coma and is now currently waiting for his mother’s arrival to make a decision regarding life support and whether or not they should continue or whether he should be taken off life support.
Sources say there’s evidence of a possible Sizzurp binge, after the rapper was released from the hospital early Wednesday morning. Are you asking, what is Sizzurp? Sizzurp is supposed to be a fruity liqueur drink that has a kick and is very pricey and popular amongst rap artists, hip hop, and Hollywood stars. It is supposed to be a fruity mixture of prescription drug(s) to include codeine, alcohol, and a fruit flavored pop. The mixture makes for a very dangerous combination.
When the rapper was admitted into the hospital, his stomach was pumped 3 times to flush any possible drugs from his system and high amounts of codeine were found, which apparently shows he may have been on a Sizzurp binge. His condition is still very critical and unknown as to whether or not the rapper will pull through. Sources say people are at Lil Wayne’s side apparently very upset and crying, hoping the rapper pulls through.
