TMZ, Global Grind, and Urban Daily have all reported that Lil' Wayne is in a coma. They said he's had more seizures and is in critical condition in the hospital, and may be facing death. Fortunately, they got the news wrong. Toya Wright just posted on Instagram a caption from @mackmaine that Lil' Wayne is fine and is watching the Syracuse game. They are very upset that the news groups did not confirm the stories' authenticity before publishing the news.
Toya Wright is Lil' Wayne's ex-wife and mother of his first daughter. They were high school sweethearts, but are no longer together. Antonia Toya Wright was born October 27, 1983 in New Orleans, Louisiana. They were married from 2004 to 2006. Their daughter together is Reginae Carter.
Toya broke out into the reality television arena with T.I's then fiancee Tiny Cottle. She's even written a book titled "Priceless Inspiration", and is now starring in her own reality show on BET called "Toya: a Family Affair". Lil' Wayne and Toya met in a corner store while Lil' Wayne was in New Orleans, Louisiana. She soon became pregnant with their daughter at the tender age of fourteen. Lil' Wayne was already an artist signed to Cash Money Records. Toya gave birth to their daughter while Lil' Wayne was only sixteen and Toya only fifteen. Reginae Carter was born on November 29, 1998. They later married on February 14, 2004; but in January of 2006, the couple separated. Despite their divorce the two remain good friends to this day and continue to raise their daughter together.
