Let me put your fears to rest, despite rumors of being "near death" and "surrounded by family reading his last rites..." Grammy winning artist "Lil Wayne", "Weezy", "Lil Tunechi", or Dwayne Michael Carter (depending on when and how well you know him) is "Alive and Well" according to record label President Mack Maine.
After suffering a seizure (or seizures, it hasn't yet really been confirmed how many or how severe) late this week (Friday), Wayne was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Although the hospital won't confirm or deny the presence of the multi-platinum selling artist (per their privacy policy) reports say that Drake and a large number of Wayne's entourage arrived at the hospital, pulled up chairs near Wayne's room and set up a vigil... (that's love).
Although reports are few and far between for the rapper, rumors of excessive drug use and alcohol are spreading about the incident leading up to the episode of seizures. Wayne has reportedly suffered from seizures in the past and was on medication for the issue at some point, whether he continued to take the medication is unknown.
So, like Mack Maine said on twitter "Dont believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe ... that's false!!" just pray for Weezy and hope for a speedy recovery.
