Lil' Wayne is finally out of the hospital after spending several days in the ICU from a drug overdose that caused massive seizures, reports TMZ on March 18. Close friends and family say that he is feeling sluggish and tired but the convulsing ans seizures have stopped. He plans to lay low until he makes a full recovery.
Lil' Wayne was admitted to Sedar Sinai Hospital on Tuesday after a seizure then was released in the very early hours of the morning. He was then readmitted within hours after another seizure struck that put him in ICU. There were reports that his stomach had to be pumped three times to remove all the codeine from his system.
The rapper received several famous visitors in the ICU as he was in critical condition, many thinking that he may have been on his death bed as machines were breathing for him. Lil' Wayne has suffered from seizures for awhile and is supposed to be taking medication daily to prevent the convulsions, whether he was doing so is unknown.
