On the morning of March 17, 2013, Lil Wayne HQ's, released a photo of Lil Wayne with two new facial tattoos. One of the number 17 and a stitch face tattoo, both on the left side of his face and clearly fresh or shopped on to an existing photo. The tattoos were nonexistent in a photo taken of Wayne with Nicki Minaj on the set of her upcoming video, "High School" on March 11, 2013. Mack tagged the tattoo photo with a simple message:
A better look at Lil Wayne’s “17” and stitch face tattoos
The mystery of Lil Wayne's condition seems to be fading as planned by the Cash Money and Young Money crews as they remain tight lipped with any specific details confirming Lil Wayne's status. The last tweet from President of Young Money Entertainment, Mack Maine was at 3:24 AM - March 18, 2013:
Up up and away ...
Goodbye LA...NYC I'll see u shortly #celebrate
The message clearly indicates Mack was leaving Weezy's bedside in Los Angeles and heading for New York. Yet, did he feel comfortable to leave because Weezy is stable and resting as previously reported or because it's lights out for the rapper?
One can't help but speculate since prior to Maine's departure message, he tweeted:
We will be releasing an official statement shortly but dont believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe...that's false!!
Shortly has not come as of yet, however on March 17, 2013 Mack Maine's "Celebrate" video (see video below) featuring Lil Wayne and Talib Kweli was officially released as was the picture of Wayne's new tattoos.
The 17th day of the month, along with the tattoo "17" are probably not a coincidence. Coincidentally however, in history 17 represents death. The Romans feared the number considering it an omen because one anagram for XVII is VIXI or the Italian word "vissi" which means "I lived" and is typically inscribed on tombstones therefore implying, one is dead. This is why when in Rome, buildings don't have a 17th floor, row, street or 17 anything. Although, in English the word is often translated for use in the present tense as live, be alive, exist, be; survive; reside, dwell; enjoy life; support oneself.
Although pure speculation at this point, it is of concern that Lil Wayne HQ's has not provided simple updates daily for the rapper's multitudes of fans, after all, a powerful voice in the rap game, his fans are the reason his net worth is $95 million.
Multiple rumors set social media, especially Twitter ablaze after TMZ reported Lil Wayne had been readmitted to the hospital after a sizzurp binge caused another series of violent seizures. TMZ also and reported the rapper was in a medically induced coma. However, Wayne's closest confidant's Birdman and and Mack Maine have simply denied such claims. The only peep, seemingly from Lil Wayne came from his Twitter account on last Friday:
I'm good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love.
Dead or alive, the people want to know.
