Lil Wayne, Birdman celebrate with NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks

See also

Lil Wayne, Birdman, Trey Songz, Slim Thug and Lil Twist celebrated the Dallas Mavericks win over the big three Miami Hype machine. That's right, NBA Finals MVP Dirk Nowitzki and Dallas Mavs owner and a number of its players brought their championship talents to South Beach and partied the night away.

It was an odd sight to say the least. After defeating the Heat 105-95 on Monday June 12th to earn their first championship in team history, the ball club selected Club Liv as the after game celebration site. That just happens to be the same place Lebron James mother was arrested for slapping a valet. Ouch. However that was not what made the event odd, rather it was seeing Lil Wayne, a mainstay all season long sitting court side at Heat home games was pictured hoisting the trophy and getting wild with the Mavs. Birdman CEO of the Cash Money crew was a little lighter in the pockets that night after losing 2 Million dollars in a bet he placed against the Mavericks.

During the Chicago vs Miami Eastern Conference Finals it was Young Money member Drake who was sending Lebron messages proclaiming it was "his time" and predicting James would get his first ring. Drake was not in attendance to celebrate with the rest of his crew. Its not clear if Drake was in attendance during the NBA Finals but if not its okay, because Lebron James did not attend the NBA Finals either.
