Lil' Twist and YP joined TYGA's Careless World Tour at sold out Cleveland show (Photos)

On Tuesday, March 6thTYGA and his crew stopped in Cleveland on the Careless World Tour. The show at the House of Blues was completely sold out and the line of eager fans waiting for the doors to open stretched down the street and around the corner outside the venue. A predominantly younger crowd, they filled the floor as soon as they could get inside and didn’t dare leave their spot if they wanted to hold onto their vantage point.

First on stage was the young prodigy of Lil WayneLil Twist. His powerful personality and natural stage presence shown through the moment he stepped on stage, drawing the audience in and sparking their pent-up energy into flames. As he spit lyrics into the crowd, they responded with equal enthusiasm, further fueling the fire coursing through the veins of Lil Twist. When he left the stage, the crowd was riled up and ready for more.

They didn’t have to wait long before YG hit the stage blazing. There wasn’t a minute of his set where he let up on the energy or the beat, and the audience loved it. Especially when he broke through the barrier and left the stage to join his fans in the front row. He took the fever mounting in the venue and made it spike, leaving everyone pumping for more.

The audience was so hyped after the two opening acts they couldn’t contain themselves. Pushing and shoving amongst themselves, they eagerly awaited the appearance of their headliner TYGA. Smaller audience members were hoisted over the barrier to escape the milieu, as there was no other hope for exit from the thirsty crowd. As the moments ticked by, the crowd calmed to momentary waves of chants and cheers, but when TYGA finally took to the stage—40 minutes after his scheduled start time—the crowd revived themselves instantaneously.

TYGA dove into his performance and the crowd followed his every move. Their voices and hands rose with his—they had clearly forgiven him for the long wait. TYGA was obviously delivering what they had come to see and they were living in that moment, fueled by the power of his presence. It had been worth the long line and the long wait to become a resident of TYGA’s Careless World. TYGA left them all with an experience they would remember as he laid all he had on the stage before them.
