Roy Paschal's "Peace and Love" is one of 30 works in watermedia that have been viewed at venues around the state during the past year as part of the South Carolina Watermedia's 2008 Traveling Show.

Columbia had no venue this year for The South Carolina Watermedia Society Traveling Show, but art patrons can see the five paintings that represented the area during the 2008 statewide tour.

Back in town, four of the five works will go on temporary view, between 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at 300 Senate.

Guy Lipscomb’s traveling piece, “The Nugget”, will be join his show, “Still Falling for Art”, already in progress, and now extended through Oct. 9.

Traveling works by Lipscomb’s art colleagues Angela Bradburn, Toni Elkins, Anne Hightower-Patterson, and Roy Pascal will be on view during this lunch-hour exhibition.
