The Affordable Care Act requires revenue in order to be successful. Washington requires revenue in order to operate. The state of Texas requires revenue to retain it’s elite status. This revenue has to come from diverse sources, such as a mixture of businesses, taxes and the people.
The once touted beauty of America was the unity, which implied around the world, everything in America worked together, ‘in order to form a perfect union.’ With that said, that perfect union is on a crash course with reality.
Governments, on all levels, city, county, state and federal, when it comes to giving passes to illegal immigrants,
are only targeting, rewarding and talking to low skill illegal immigrants. Not one lawmaker in this country, is honestly talking to the American people about the real cost of illegal immigration.
At a time when many legal citizens are now working part time and unable to pay for their own health care, maintain mortgages, afford transportation, as well as, put food on their own tables, to pass along a costly burden of covering the cost of non citizens represents insanity and that insanity would be detrimental to the country.
Republicans are just as guilty. They are also targeting illegal immigrants, and are also willing to reward a criminal act, that in most cases lead to other criminal activities, such as human and drug smuggling, which are multi billion dollar criminal enterprises.
Governor Rick Perry is equally guilty. He promotes Texas as the place to be if you’re a business, seeking low cost of operations, expenses and ample incentives. He’s currently targeting Maryland with this ad:
‘When you grow tired of Maryland taxes squeezing every dime out of your business, think Texas,’ Perry says in the minute-long spot.’
When others around the country think ‘Texas,’ they think California and it’s sanctuary haven for illegal immigrants and all the financial problems associated with that sanctuary.
Businesses may profit from low costs of operation, minor expenses and there may be some good incentives, but eventually Texas, like California, is going to need revenue and that revenue is not going to come from illegal immigrants.
Illegal immigration is too costly for lawmakers to pass that cost on to taxpayers. For sure, Texas can’t print money like the feds.
