Do you have the culinary chops to compete in the world's hottest kitchen? Can you go the distance working in a pressure-filled restaurant with a celebrity chef breathing down your neck? If you answered yes, then plan to attend the August 6 casting session for Hell's Kitchen to be part of the Chef Gordon Ramsey experience.

According to Wikipedia, Hell's Kitchen is a reality television cooking competition based on the British series of the same name that is broadcast on Fox. The show is hosted by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. Hell's Kitchen has been renewed for a 13 season that is set to premier on Wednesday, September 10, 2014. To me, the show has a similar format to Top Chef minus the constant team competition and a host who likes to yell a lot.

The show brings twelve to twenty aspiring chefs to Hell's Kitchen, a modified warehouse in Los Angeles that includes the restaurant, dual kitchen facilities, and a dormitory where the chefs reside while on the show. Contentants, who are separated into two teams and given color-coded jackets, compete in team challenges that result in a chef being eliminated. As the competition progresses, the number of contestants is whittled down until only two chefs are left to compete for the ultimate prize and fulfill their dreams of working in the culinary industry as the winner of Hell's Kitchen.

Applicants must be 21 years or older to participate. Please be sure to complete the online application prior to attending the casting session:
