A new set of screenshots have been revealed on March 18 by Square Enix for their upcoming multiplatform video game, “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.” According to a report by Game Chup, the latest image showcase a new desert location called Dead Dunes. The main character, Lightning can be seen sliding on the sand to get to her destination. Several combat sequences are also featured in the batch. Square Enix will be publishing “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII” when it launches for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in the North American region later this year. The sequel to “Final Fantasy XIII” and “Final Fantasy XIII-2” is currently under development at the Square Enix 1st Production Department.
