Edge has revealed some potential issues regarding the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.” According to a preview article from Edge Online that was published on March 7, the publication disclosed that the sequel does not have a gameplay identity because it borrows a lot from other video games. Some of the fans may not also like the new combat and menu changes as well. In terms of graphics, the video game suffers from “flat, grubby environment textures” at the expense of the highly-detailed character models. You can check out some screens from the role-playing game in the slideshow at the top of this article.
Square Enix will be releasing “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII” for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in North America sometime later this fall. The sequel to “Final Fantasy XIII” and “Final Fantasy XIII-2” will feature Lightning as the main playable character. It will also mark an end to her storyline.
