Starting Friday and going through Sunday the Campout Festival "Lightning in a Bottle" will take place in a new location halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, in the Lake San Antonio recreation area at 2091 New Pleyto Rd, Bradley, over the Memorial Day weekend, May 22 – 26.
At the opening ceremony the Chumash Tribal Chairman, 'Lone Wolf', will provide the message of 'Mother Earth and Father Sky'. There will be Music by a variety of Artists, A Yoga line up, programs to Inspire, and speakers sharing inspirations and insights on varied subjects. There will be Campgrounds available for camping, showers available for a fee, campfires in designated areas, and cooking and grilling in enclosed propane grills. All full weekend and 2-day passes include camping, just park your car in the general parking area and walk or take the shuttle to the campgrounds. For those who prefer to keep their cars with them, they need only purchase a 'car camping' pass to be able to drive their cars to the campgrounds. Lightning in a Bottle believes it is better to leave the event site better than you found it, so they ask that you bring little trash with you, and take with you when you leave, be sure to follow their policy "leave it better, leave it beautiful".
