Lightner releases new video message

Lightner's campaign is starting to heat up.  She has released a new video message geared toward the people of the 3rd district and has recently announced that she has retained the services of the polling company, inc./Woman Trend to provide research and consulting advice for the remainder of the campaign.   Lightner said she was extremely grateful to be gaining the expertise and experience of Conway and the polling company, inc.

“Kellyanne is one of the most respected research and polling experts in the nation, and one of the more prominent conservative female voices in politics. Joining together with the polling company, inc. will be a tremendous benefit for my campaign,” said Lightner.

The other candidates continue to ramp up their campaigns.  Veteran Dan Gilyeat chose the 68th anniversary of the bombing at Pearl Harbor to place his name on the Kansas Republican Primary Ballot to honor America's "Greatest Generation" stating that "Americans once again need to be united and take a stand to defend our country from enemies both foreign and domestic.

John Rysavy is another Republican running and has been very active with statements on health care, fiscal responsibility and a national energy policy.
